Cape Cod is chock full of things that go bump in the night. Any place with this much history would be. And tomorrow night, TAPS will put the Orleans Inn to the test.
TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, is a paranormal research group based in Warwick, RI. For years, the founding members of TAPS, originally plumbers by day, ghost hunters by night, conducted paranormal investigations in the New England area. Several years ago, the group landed a series on the
SyFy Channel, documenting their investigations.

Armed with high tech cameras, sound recorders and other electronicgizmos, the team analyzes footage, sound and changes in temperature andatmosphere to determine whether or not a site is haunted. In February, members of TAPS spent several days at the inn and Wednesday night, their finding will air on the SyFy Channel.
If conversation turns to Cape Cod's ghosts and ghouls, it's a given the Orleans Inn will be make the list. According to owner Ed Maas, the Orleans Inn was a brothel in the 1920s. It is thought that one of the working girls, Hannah, was murdered and haunts the inn to this day. But she's not the only otherworldly guest at the Lower Cape lodging. There are at least two other "guests" not on the register including a bartender named Fred who hanged himself in the inn's cupola.

Maas hasn't divulged the team's finding, but has said he was shocked by what TAPS discovered.
This isn't the first time TAPS has investigated a Cape Cod lodging, several years ago, the TAPS team investigated the Colonial House Inn in Yarmouth Port, another paranormal hotspot.
