There are many activities to do around the Cape Cod region. 

Cape Cod National Seashore

Created in 1961 Cape Cod National Seashore contains 43,607 acres of beautiful beachfront, woodlands, ponds, and also is home to many different bike trails.

Coast Guard Beach

Coast Guard Beach is the perfect beach to go to if you love to swim. This beach is also perfect for people who love to surf and skimboard.

Goose Hummock

Goose Hummock is Cape Cod's premier outdoor outfitter. The company has served the Cape Cod area sin 1946. They have all the equipment you need to enjoy a variety of outdoor adventures around Orleans and other areas on Cape Cod.

Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary provides a majestic view of the Wellfleet Harbor, as you hike the hillsides and shorelines. The Sanctuary also provides an award winning "green" nature center housing numerous exhibits and aquariums.

Nauset Lighthouse

The Nauset Lighthouse is the most well known and photographed lighthouse in the Cape Cod region. The lighthouse continues to be a private aid to the recreational fisherman and boats that said along its coasts.

Nickerson State Park

Nickerson State Park is located in Brewster, MA and contains 1,900 acres of wooded trails and ponds to explore. At the park you can enjoy many activities such as hiking, biking, and fishing.

Whydah Pirate Museum

The Whydah Pirate Museum is dedicated to letting people experience what it was like to be a pirate. Here you can see the lost treasure of the pirates along with their ships that have wrecked upon the shores of Cape Cod.

Cape Cod Baseball League: America's premiere amateur baseball league including the Orleans Firebirds.
Goose Hummock Outdoor Adventures: Explore Cape Cod with the Goose Hummocks Outdoor Adventure Program. They offer kayaking lessons, kayak rentals, guided Cape Cod kayak tours.

Orleans Art Galleries and Boutique Shops located within walking distance of the Inns front door.

Cape Cod National Seashore: Writing about Cape Cod in the 1800s, Henry David Thoreau said, "A man may stand there and put all America behind him." Thoreau walked the length of the great Outer Beach. Modern visitors can trace Thoreau's route along 40 miles of pristine, sandy beach protected within Cape Cod National Seashore.
Plymouth Plantations: Outdoor 17th-century living history recreation. Talk with costumed role players who portray the Pilgrims & Wampanoag Indians. Board the Mayflower II.
Martha's Vineyard: Great place to shop, see & do.
Nantucket: Cobbelstone streets are filled with boutiques, jewelry shops & Cape items.
Monomoy Bird Refuge: This 8-mile long spit of sand off of Chatham. A Sanctuary for migratory birds & sea life.
Cape Cod Rail-Trail: 26 Miles of Scenic Bike Trails throughout Cape Cod.

Nauset Beach: Atlantic Ocean with miles of beach to walk and magnificant waves to play in & great a Clam Shack!!
Skaket Beach: Bayside with extreme tide changes and beautiful Sunsets. Lowtide gives one the ability to walk out for miles, enjoy tidal pools and explore sea life; while hightide makes a refreshing swim for all.
